2012 INDIANA All-Star:
#1 Singles player Michelle McFerran was named to the Indiana All-Stars. She will get a chance to be honored on June 10th @ Center Grove High School. Michelle will get a chance to play some of the top players in the entire state in the morning session and then be honored at the luncheon that follows in the afternoon. This is a great reward for one of the top tennis players ever at Alexandria High School.
SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS! Lady Varsity Tennis team captured their 1st Sectional Championship! The Tigers beat Frankton 4-1 in the semi-finals and swept Lapel in the finals 5-0. Amazing win for the Tigers!

2012 Summer Camps The Lady Varsity Tennis team held their tennis camp: June 4th - June 8th. This summer was an exciting turn out as we had 62 young ladies learning the great game of tennis. This camp is done w/ cooperation w/ the Basketball & Volleyball teams so young ladies can experience all three sports. Special thanks to Allie, Abbie, Abby M, Hannah, Sarah-Kate, Alisha, Macie, Chelsea, & Brooke for helping out during the camp. 2012 Tennis News
The Lady Varsity Tennis team will have their awards night on June 4th @ 6:00 in the High School Cafeteria. Awards will be presented at this time. Last Wednesday Michelle was honored at the District meetings as she was named 1st Team All-District in singles. This is the 3rd time Michelle has received this great honor. The complete team can be seen at: IHSTECA All-District.
Coach DeVault was also honored at the meeting as he was named the 2012 District Coach of the Year. Great honor to be recognized by his peers and for what the team was able to do over the course of the season.
